Kaus was inspired by my mum, who was diagnosed with Stage II Breast Cancer in 2011. Her treatment plan included Chemotherapy and to disguise the side effects, she began the search for headwear to alternate with her new wig. She soon found that her options were limited. She helped me to recognise the need for women to feel comfortable, feminine, and fashionable while going through treatment. So I drew on my extensive experience in the fashion industry, and access to on-trend fashion fabrics, to create Kaus.

I lovingly design the on-trend headwear right here in New Zealand using stunning fabrics and prints to help bring a little colour and smile to your day. I hope you love wearing my hats as much as I love making them.
